Musing on Art

Collective learning. Where does art fit? Is art learning because we collect it? Or is art learning at all? What does art teach? Can art learn? Can art react? Can art collect and grow? Can art be information? Can art compose itself? Can art know? Can art know what it knows and compose from its knowledge new forms that express what we are in various ways by its awareness of us and the collective ambiance of experience within the environments we inhabit–bringing new sensibilities and new layers of consciousness to life. Can art conceive of us the way we conceive if it? Can it create us? Or is that how it already is? Did it come before us? Does it wait until we begin to create it before it creates of us what it already is?
